With the rise of integrated technologies, our world is smaller and more connected than ever before. It’s the digital age, and it’s under attack. From online fraud to viruses and malware, bad actors are making their home in cyber space. We need cybersecurity experts to step into the gap and lead the fight. Be that leader with an Executive Master of Science in Digital Forensics from University of the Cumberlands.
Your executive master’s program offers a mix of proven leadership and people skills with technical, hands-on investigative techniques. It’s the kind of comprehensive education in digital forensics you need to take your career to an executive level.
Your 31-credit-hour program begins with a mandatory residency weekend each semester* followed by online classes to learn how to:
- Investigate computer crime and recover lost data
- Perform Windows Registry forensics
- Analyze malware and mitigate its effects
- Maintain procedures for rules of evidence
- Apply influencing “soft skills” to lead professional peers
Plus, University of the Cumberlands has been named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). There are just over 200 universities with CAE-CD designation within the nation, with only two other Kentucky universities included in this elite group.
